Joell Ortiz Gets Things Off His Chest On “Rap Millionaire”

“I wish everybody kept it 100. I wish every DJ played what they wanted.”

Joell Ortiz indeed keeps it 100 on his new !llmind assisted single. He kept busy last year with “No Panty” – a group he formed with Bodega Bamz and Nitty Scott MC – but he starts his 2017 releases with a BANG. He talks about everything from rappers giving him the run around to his deal with a “superstar” all the way to making the XXL freshman list back when it was actually respectable. This is exactly what we love to hear from Joell. Now we need a full length project.

Sidenote: Back in February, Joe Budden said the follow up to Slaughterhouse’s Shady Records debut, “Welcome to: Our House”, will never see the light of day. He followed that up by saying it had the “best verse from Joell Ortiz he has ever heard in his life”. Wow. Can we have that as well? Please?
