Lupe Fiasco Reminisces On What “Coulda Been” If He Wasn’t A Rapper

“I could be hustling bags, struggling bad, if I wasn’t up in the lab” spits Chicago’s own Lupe Fiasco over some really dope, soulful production.

If you’re wondering why it might sound like vintage Lupe – it’s because it is. This song is originally from, I believe, 06-07. It was re-released today with new production, a different mix, and it also sounds like he re-recorded it, as well.

Premiered on iTunes/Apple Music, Lupe goes over a ton of different things (good and bad) that he could have been doing had he never pursued a career in Music. Whether it be a solid real estate career, boxing, or in the streets taking risks – Lupe covers it all on “Coulda Been”. I think its safe to say that (most) Hip Hop fans are happy he took the route he did and we’re thankful for his contributions to the genre.

No word on who produced it, but we would love to know.
